Very nice book, tightly bound and clean inside and out. There's very little wear to the boards, the binding is without crracking and both headbands are clean and still in place at both ends of the spine. The only defects are a couple light spots to the front board and the previosu owner's name and address written on the half title page for which I will lay-in a new bookplate for the buyer to use, or not, as per choice. This book is very interesting and was created by the WPA , President Franklin Roosevelt's program to keep people workign during the Great Depression. The book offers much history and has beautiful black and white photographs of good size. The book measures 5-1/2" x 8-1/4" and has 570 pages including index..
